April 2015 North American Freight Numbers
U.S.-NAFTA freight totaled $93.3 billion in April 2015 as all modes but air carried less U.S.-NAFTA freight than in April 2014, according to the TransBorder Freight Data released today by the U.S. Department of Transportation’s Bureau of Transportation Statistics.

1st Quarter 2015 Airline Financial Data
U.S. scheduled passenger airlines reported an after-tax net profit of $3.1 billion in the first quarter of 2015, up from $241 million in the fourth quarter of 2014 and up from $507 million in the first quarter of 2014, the U.S. Department of Transportation’s Bureau of Transportation Statistics (BTS) reported today.

March 2015 U.S. Airline Traffic Data
The U.S. Department of Transportation’s Bureau of Transportation Statistics (BTS) reported today that U.S. airlines’ systemwide (domestic and international) scheduled service load factor – a measure of the use of airline capacity – fell to 83.5 percent in March, seasonally-adjusted, declining after rising for three consecutive months.
