NOTES: Natural gas includes vehicles using compressed natural gas (CNG) and liquefied natural gas (LNG). Ethanol excludes vehicles used by private individuals because most of those vehicles are believed to be in use as traditional gasoline-powered vehicles. This table does not include data on gasoline-electric hybrids. The estimated number of methanol M100 and M85, and 95-percent ethanol vehicles in use is zero for 2007.
