Where are our freight transportation facilities located and how well are they connected? Upon the successful completion of an Intermodal Passenger Connectivity Database, the Bureau of Transportation Statistics (BTS) is now working to develop and maintain a database that provides information on the location and connectivity of freight transportation facilities and services. During this webinar, Olu Ajayi of BTS’s Office of Transportation Analysis (OTA) will provide an overview of this new effort and some insight into the approach and challenges, while providing a preview of the information that has been compiled so far.
